梭菌蛋白酶（ Arg-C ， clostripain ）是一种肽链内切酶，在精氨酸残基的 C 末端进行剪切，包括与脯氨酸相邻的位点。同时剪切也可以发生在赖氨酸残基的位点。这种测序级别的蛋白酶可单独或与其他蛋白酶联合作用于蛋白质谱分析和其他应用。梭菌蛋白酶活性的最佳 pH 值范围为 7.6–7.9 。

Arg-C (clostripain) is an endopeptidase that cleaves at the C-terminus of arginine residues, including the sites next to proline. Cleavage also will occur at lysine residues. This sequencing grade enzyme can be used alone or in combination with other proteases for protein analysis by mass spectrometry and other applications. Arg-C activity is optimal in the pH range of 7.6–7.9.
