Specificity:Detects human IL-1 alpha/IL-1F1 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, approximately 30% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) IL-1 alpha is observed and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant porcine IL-1 alpha , recombinant rat IL‑1 alpha , recombinant cotton rat IL‑1 alpha , recombinant human IL-1 beta and rmIL-1 beta is observed.
