LXR-b (Liver X Receptor beta) ligand binding domain is a 57.6 kDa recombinant human protein (amino acids 201-461) expressed as a GST fusion protein in baculovirus-infected insect cells. LXR beta was expressed and purified in the absence of exogenous ligands, making it ideal for ligand binding and coregulator displacement studies.
