IP-10 is produced by several cell types during the delayed type hypersensivity response. It acts as a chemoattractant towards monocyte and some T-lymphocytes.

Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. AbD Serotec recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage, the additiona of 0.1%BSA is recommended.
