Utilizes active proteins from the Invitrogen Ultimate ORF Collection The ProtoArray Human Protein Microarray is designed for maximum protein functionality. The proteins are produced from clones selected from the Invitrogen™ Ultimate™ ORF Collection, the first and only clone resource to offer full-insert sequenced clones in a Gateway™ vector. Clones are expressed as N-terminal GST fusion proteins using a baculovirus expression system. All proteins are purified under nondenaturing conditions and printed at 4°C to preserve native protein structure.
Have confidence in your results To help ensure confidence in your results, proteins are arrayed in duplicate on a 1 inch by 3 inch glass slide along with many controls for background, labeling, and detection. The glass slide is an ultra-thin nitrocellulose-coated slide specifically selected for its low background binding. Each slide is labeled with a unique bar code for easy tracking.
