PRKACA (PKA) is a serine⁄threonine protein kinase that phosphorylates a broad spectrum of substrates. PRKACA regulates many cellular processes including cell growth, cell differentiation, ion-channel conductivity, gene transcription, and synaptic release of neurotransmitters.
