MCA1108EL recognises a non polymorphic epitope on the mouse CD8 alpha chain. Antibodies produced by clone YTS105.18 have been reported to block MHC I dependent T-cell responsesin vitroandin vivo, and induce transplantation tolerance in combination with CD4 antibodies.
