This green-fluorescent BODIPY FL conjugate can be used to follow lipopolysaccharide binding, transport and cell-internalization processes. This derivative (from E. coli strain LCD25) has been used to measure the transfer rate of lipopolysaccharides from monocytes to high-density lipoprotein (HDL).
