HCA041 recognises human cytokeratin 20, and has been demonstrated to cross-react with cytokeratin 19.
In Western blotting of of HT29 cell lysates two bands are seen, one at 40kD being consistent with CK19, and one at 45kD being consistent with CK20.
In Immunohistology reactivity is seen both with tissues expressing only CK19 and with those expressing only CK20.
Product Form
A bivalent human recombinant Fab selected from the HuCAL® GOLD phage display library. Expressed in E. coli and purified using metal chelate affinity chromatography. This Fab fragment is dimerized via a helix-turn-helix motif. The antibody is tagged with a myc-tag (EQKLISEEDL) and a his-tag (HHHHHH) at the C-terminus of the antibody heavy chain.

This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
