The p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), also known as low-affinity NGF receptor (LNGFR) and p75LNGFR, binds nerve growth factor, brain-derived neurotrophic factor, neurotrophin-3 and neurotrophin-4 with varying specificities. p75NTRplays an important role in neurotrophic factor signaling including neuronal apoptosis. Anti-Human p75 pAb provides a valuable tool for understanding the role of p75NTRin neuronal death.
Features - Benefits
Immunogen:Cytoplasmic domain of the human p75 neurotrophin receptor.
Antibody Form:Purified rabbit IgG; 1mg/ml in PBS containing 50μg/ml gentamicin.
Specificity:Human, rat, mouse and chicken p75.
Applications
(Suggested working concentration)
Immunocytochemistry (1–10μg/ml).
Immunohistochemistry (1–10μg/ml).
Immunoprecipitation (1–10μg/ml).
Note: This antibody is not recommended for use in Western blot analysis due to potential for cross-reactivity with the fusion tag on the immunogen.
