LT8 recognises the human CD8 cell surface antigen, expressed by the cytotoxic - suppressor subset of T lymphocytes and more weakly by NK cells.
WR18 recognises a common determinant on the b chain of the MHC Class 2 molecules HLA-DR, DP and DQ. This antigen is expressed on B lymphocytes, monocytes and on activated T lymphocytes.
DC020 is designed to permit the simultaneous enumeration of cells expressing CD8 and HLA Class 2. This reagent is particularly useful for studying the expression of HLA Class 2 by the CD8 +ve lymphocytes.
