These plastic containers in which the UltraGAPS™ Coated Slides are shipped also function as storage boxes for printed arrays. The orange colored plastic has low transmittance in the 500 to 700 nm wavelength range which helps protect Cy®3 and Cy®5 dyes from photobleaching. These rigid plastic containers do not shed particles or out-gas volatile chemicals that may contaminate microarray slides.
