Stat6 抗体能检测内源总体水平的Stat6蛋白。此多克隆抗体是通过合成对应人源性Stat6 620位点氨基酸周围的肽段免疫动物而获得。 抗体是通过protein A和多肽亲和层析纯化。受到Janus激酶激活后, Stat6 入核并调控细胞素诱导基因的表达。Stat6 通过在Tyr641位点的磷酸化激活，这对IL-4 和 IL-13的应答是必需的(1-4)。另外， 在B细胞系中Stat6被 IFN-α 激活并与 Stat2和 p48形成具有转录活性的复合体(5,6)。蛋白磷酸酶 2A 也参与到 IL-4介导的 Stat6信号通路中 (7)。

Source / Purification

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding amino acid 620 of human Stat6. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.

Background

Upon activation by Janus kinases, Stat6 translocates to the nucleus where it regulates cytokine-induced gene expression. Stat6 is activated via phosphorylation at Tyr641 and is required for responsiveness to IL-4 and IL-13 (1-4). In addition, Stat6 is activated by IFN-α in B cell lines, where it forms transcriptionally active complexes with Stat2 and p48 (5,6). Protein phosphatase 2A is also involved in regulation of IL-4-mediated Stat6 signaling (7).
