Androgen Receptor (D6F11) XP® Rabbit mAb (Alexa Fluor® 594结合) 能够检测内源性水平的总雄激素受体蛋白。该单克隆抗体是由对应人雄激素受体蛋白靠近氨基末端残基的重组蛋白免疫动物而生产的。该Cell Signaling Technology抗体与Alexa Fluor® 594荧光染料结合，并直接用流式细胞术内部测试检测人体细胞。预计该抗体与非结合的Androgen Receptor (D6F11) XP® Rabbit mAb #5153一样，表现出相同的物种交叉反应。雄激素受体（AR）是锌指转录因子，属于核受体超家族，通过磷酸化和配体结合的二聚化被激活（1）。这促进了细胞核定位和雄激素靶基因中雄激素与应答元件的结合。 AR在男性发育和前列腺癌发展的几个阶段起着至关重要的作用（2,3）。

Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with recombinant protein corresponding to residues near the amino terminal region of human androgen receptor protein.

Description

This Cell Signaling Technology antibody is conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 594 fluorescent dye and tested in-house for direct immunofluorescent analysis in human cells. The antibody is expected to exhibit the same species cross-reactivity as the unconjugated Androgen Receptor (D6F11) XP® Rabbit mAb #5153.

Background

Androgen receptor (AR), a zinc finger transcription factor belonging to the nuclear receptor superfamily, is activated by phosphorylation and dimerization upon ligand binding (1). This promotes nuclear localization and binding of AR to androgen response elements in androgen target genes. AR plays a crucial role in several stages of male development and the progression of prostate cancer (2,3).
