描述：

KHSRP Antibody检测内源性KHSRP总蛋白水平。通过人工合成人源KHSRP蛋白氨基末端相应序列的多肽片段去免疫动物从而制备多克隆抗体。通过蛋白A和多肽亲和层析纯化抗体。KHSRP又称KSRP，是一个含有KH结构域的AU-rich element (ARE)结合蛋白(1)。它能招募降解机器并激活mRNA转化 (2)。前期研究显示该蛋白是作为一个剪接的调控因子(3)。KHSRP与 Drosha和Dicer多蛋白复合物相互联系(4)，且通过结合到microRNA 前体的末端茎环从而控制这些microRNAs生物合成(3)。在神经细胞和非神经细胞中KHSRP蛋白同时存在于在细胞核和细胞质里(4)。

KHSRP Antibody detects endogenous levels of total KHSRP protein.

Source / Purification

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the amino terminus of human KHSRP protein. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.

Background

KHSRP, also known as KSRP, is a KH domain-containing AU-rich element (ARE) binding protein (1). It recruits degradation machinery and activates mRNA turnover (2). This protein was previously shown to function as a regulator for splicing (3). KHSRP associates with both the Drosha and Dicer multiprotien complexes (4), and controls the biogenesis of some microRNAs by binding to the terminal loops of these microRNA precursors (3). KHSRP is found in neural and non-neural cell types, in the nucleus and the cytoplasm (4).
