描述：

GP130 抗体能够检测内源水平GP130蛋白总体水平而不依赖于磷酸化与否。此多克隆抗体是通过合成人源GP130的序列来免疫动物而获得。抗体是通过protein A和多肽亲和层析纯化。GP130是IL-6家族的细胞因子共同作用的信号传导亚基(1-3)。结合此受体的配体诱导GP130的二聚化，导致Jak酪氨酸激酶的激活和 GP130酪氨酸的磷酸化。这些事件导致了多个信号转换通路的激活,如Stat, Ras-MAPK 和 PI3 激酶通路, PI3 激酶通路的激活是通过GP130 的另外一个不同的区域而激活(4-7)。

Source / Purification

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the sequence of human GP130. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.

Background

GP130 is a signal-transducing subunit shared by the receptors for the IL-6 family of cytokines (1-3). The binding of a ligand to its receptor induces the dimerization of GP130, leading to activation of the Jak tyrosine kinase and to tyrosine phosphorylation of GP130. These events lead to the activation of multiple signal-transduction pathways, such as the Stat, Ras-MAPK and PI3 kinase pathways, whose activation is controlled by distinct regions of GP130 (4-7).
