RANTES (P20) Antibody 能够检测人内源水平RANTES蛋白总体水平。此多克隆抗体是通过合成人源对应的RANTES Pro20位点周围的肽段来免疫动物而获得。抗体是通过protein A和多肽亲和层析纯化。RANTES/CCL5 (激活调节，T细胞表达并分泌)是"C-C" 或 β化学增活素家族的成员能够诱导炎症反应并与很多炎症性疾病有关(1,2)。RANTES 主要是由 CD8+ T 细胞, 巨噬细胞，血小板，上皮细胞，成纤维细胞和一些肿瘤产生并分泌(2-7)。RANTES作为化学引诱物，对其它的一些细胞类型（如单核细胞，记忆T细胞，自然杀伤细胞，嗜酸性粒细胞，嗜碱性粒细胞，树突状细胞和肥大细胞）都具有其他的调节功能(3, 7-9)。通过RANTES的信号通过一些G蛋白偶联受体(GPCRs)而介导，包含CCR1, CCR3, CCR4 和 CCR5。

Background

RANTES/CCL5 (regulated upon activation, T cell expressed and secreted) is a member of the "C-C" or β family of chemokines that induce inflammation and are associated with a number of inflammatory disorders (1,2). RANTES is produced and secreted mainly by CD8+ T cells, macrophages, and platelets, as well as epithelial cells, fibroblasts and some solid tumors (2-7). RANTES acts as a chemoattractant and has other regulatory functions on a number of cell types including monocytes, memory T cells, NK cells, eosinophils, basophils, dendritic cells, and mast cells (3, 7-9). Signaling by RANTES is mediated by several G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), including CCR1, CCR3, CCR4 and CCR5.
