Myc-Tag (9B11) Mouse mAb (HRP Conjugate)可以检测细胞中包含Myc标为标签的蛋白。此抗体可以识别转染细胞靶蛋白在氨基或羧基末端融合的Myc标签 。单克隆抗体是采用与人类c-Myc (EQKLISEEDL)的410-419残基相对应的合成肽段免疫动物而生产的，抗体在最佳条件下与HRP结合。在免疫印迹、免疫沉淀和免疫染色等技术中，表位标签用于标记和检测蛋白。由于它们的体积很小，它们一般不会影响标记蛋白的生化特性。Myc标为标签在细菌、酵母和哺乳动物细胞系统中广泛应用于检测重组蛋白的表达（1）。

Specificity / Sensitivity

Myc-Tag (9B11) Mouse mAb (HRP Conjugate) detects transfected proteins containing the Myc epitope tag. The antibody recognizes the Myc-tag fused to either the amino- or carboxy-terminus of targeted proteins in transfected mammalian cells.

Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 410-419 of human c-Myc (EQKLISEEDL). This antibody was conjugated to HRP under optimal conditions.

Background

Epitope tags are useful for the labeling and detection of proteins using immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunostaining techniques. Due to their small size, they are unlikely to affect the tagged protein's biochemical properties.The Myc epitope tag is widely used to detect expression of recombinant proteins in bacteria, yeast, insect and mammalian cell systems (1).
