PSMD10/Gankyrin 抗体识别内源性的PSMD10/Gankyrin总蛋白。多克隆抗体通过合成与人源PSMD10/Gankyrin蛋白羰基末端邻近氨基酸残基序列一致的肽段，免疫动物产生。抗体经Protein A和肽亲和层析纯化。PSMD10 / Gankyrin是锚蛋白重复伴侣蛋白,参与蛋白酶体19S RP的组装(1)。研究已经证明,PSMD10是原癌基因，在肝细胞癌中过表达(2)。调查相信PSMD10的致癌性可能与其结合和调节pRB, CDK4, MDM2, RelA稳定性与活性的能力有关(2-5)。

Source / Purification

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the carboxy terminus of human PSMD10/Gankyrin protein. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.

Background

PSMD10/Gankyrin is an ankyrin-repeat chaperone protein that is involved in the assembly of the 19S regulatory particle of the proteasome (1). Reasearch studies have demonstrated that PSMD10 is oncogenic and is overexpressed in hepatocullar carcinomas (2). Investigators believe the oncogenicity of PSMD10 may be linked to its ability to bind and regulate the stability and activity of pRB, CDK4, MDM2, and RelA (2-5).
