描述：

Fluorescein casein can be used to assay protease activity. In this assay, unhydrolyzed fluorescein casein must be precipitated with trichloroacetic acid, separated by centrifugation, transferred for measurement and then pH-adjusted for fluorescein signal enhancement. The EnzChek® Protease Assay Kits (E6638, E6639) also use a fluorescently-labeled casein derivative, but unlike fluorescein casein, these substrates do not require any precipitation or separation steps for detection.
