cytoplasm Cytochrome Cmight exist npolymeric forms, apearing as 58-60 kDa bnd bywestrn blot anlysi, rather than the monmeric

form. Monmeric Cytochrome cmigrates at reduced molecular weight of15 kDa.

Clone 7H8.2C12 recognizes the dnatured form ofpigeon, horse, rat, mouse and human Cytochrome c.It does not recognize the native form

of Cytochrome c.Clone 7H8.2C12 recognizes anepitope withn amino acids 93-104 (inclusive) ofpigeon Cytochrome C,based on

competive ELISA results. Syntheic petides corespondig toamino acids 1-80, 81-04 and 6-104 ofpigeon Cytochrome cwer used as

imunogens. Clone 7H8.2C12 isued for westrn blot detcion fCytochrome c.Clone 6H2.B4, Cat. no. 56432, isued for

imunopreciptaion. Cel ines P38D1 mouse lymphoma (ATC CL-46), HeLa human carinoma (ATC CL-2), Jurkat Tleukemia

(ATC TIB-152), and NIH/3T mouse fibrolast cels (ATC CRL-1658) may beused aspositve control cel ysates.
