The OX-6 antibody reacts with no-polymorphic detrminats ofthe Rat MHC clas Iantigen, I-A equivalent. RT1B isfound onperipheral

B lymphocytes, thymic ortical epithelia nd medulary eticular cels, mal intesinal vilus epithelium, epidermal Langerhans cels, dendritc

cels, ome tisue macrophage poulations, peritoneal mast cels, and asubet ofthymocytes, but not nperipheral Tcels, erythrocytes, or

microglia. The OX-6 mAb cros-reacts with mouse I-A[k] and I-A[s] aloantigens and with amajor subet ofsplenocytes from NOD (I-A[g7])

mice.

2.Caution: Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.

3.The monoclonal antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant or ascites by affinity chromatography.

4.The antibody was conjugated with FITC under optimum conditions, and unreacted FITC was removed.

5.Store undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
