member of the hyaladherin family of hyaluronan-binding proteins, with structural similarities to selectins. It has a functional role in cell
migration, lymphocyte homing and adhesion during hematopoiesis and lymphocyte activation. 515 monoclonal antibody has been reported to
be able to block cell adhesion to the hyaluronic acid.
