Detailed Description
Extender™ Taq DNA Polymerase is a high fidelity thermostable enzyme blend optimized to generate high product yields and purity. This polymerase blend includes 3' to 5’ proofreading activity for accurate template replication. It is recommended for amplification of critical templates containing GC-rich regions, palindromes, or multiple repeats. Extender™ Polymerase exhibits wide tolerance for Mg+2 and salt concentrations, making it excellent for multiplex amplifications. A mixture of blunt end and 3'dA overhang amplification products are generated. Amplification of DNA products up to 20 kb can be achieved with the optimized buffers included in the kit. Kit includes 1 tube of Extender™ Taq DNA Polymerase Blend, 500 U, 1 tube of Extender™ Taq DNA Polymerase Buffer A, 10X (without MgCl2), 1 tube of Extender™ Taq DNA Polymerase Buffer S, 10X (with MgCl2), and 1 tube of Extender Polymerase MgCl2, 50 mM. Simply, choose the appropriate buffer and magnesium concentration. Combine the buffer, magnesium, dNTPs, primers, template DNA, and 2 U of Extender™ DNA Polymerase Blend. Amplify the DNA with an optimized PCR cycle.
