AHP954 is specific for human CD268, also known as B cell activating factor receptor (BAFF-R).
CD268 is a member of the tumour necrosis factor receptor family, which is expressed by B cells. CD268 plays a role in BAFF induced B cell development and survival, and is thought to be involved in B cell autoimmune diseases.
AHP954 detects a band approximately 20kDa in Western blots of human, mouse and rat spleen lysates.
