AHP599 recognises the C-terminal region of murine Smac/DIABLO. Inhibitors of apoptosis proteins (IAP's) block cell death by caspase inhibition. X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis (XIAP) is a member of the IAP family. Smac/DIABLO is expressed in a variety of tissues and has been identified as a negative regulator of XIAP.

Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
