AHP582 recognises the caspase-13 (also known as ERICE), a novel member of the ICE subfamily of caspases. Caspase-13 is expressed in a variety of human tissues and over expression of caspase-13 induces apoptosis.

Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to Caspase-13 were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbit with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by ion exchange chromatography.
