AHP474T recognises human BAK, a 24kD apoptosis related protein, also kno which is a member of the Bcl-2 family.
This antibody shows no cross-reactivity with other Bcl-2 family members, including Bcl-2, Bcl-X, Bax or Mcl-l. Immunohistochemical studies show that Bak expression is widespread, and may show some correlation with the apoptopic state of cells.
