AHP431 recognises the 59kD apoptosis associated protein designated Caspase-10beta.
Caspase-10 is a novel ICE/CED-3 protease, and cleaves and activates Caspase -3, -4, -6, -7, -8 and -9 leading to the cleavage of many key proteins such as PARP.
Caspase-10 exists in two forms that differ in sequence at the C-terminus. Caspase-10 is also known as Mch4, whilst Caspase-10beta is also known as FLICE2.
This antibody only recognises the FLICE 2 form of Caspase-10.

This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to Caspase-10 were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG prepared by ion exchange chromatography.
