AHP2223 specifically recognises human ATG10 (Autophagy-related protein 10), otherwise known as APG10-like, an E2-like enzyme and member of the ATG10 family, which plays an important role in autophagy, by catalyzing the conjugation of ATG12 to ATG5, a key regulator of autophagy and an emerging factor in the innate immune response to viruses.
AHP2223 has been shown to be suitable for use in immunoprecipitation using HEK-293Tcell lysates.

Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
Western Blotting
AHP2223 detects a band of approximately 27kDa in HEK-293T cell lysates.
Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human ATG10 was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
