AHP2214 recognises Human ULK1, a ubiquitously expressed cytoplasmic protein belonging to the serine/threonine protein kinase family.
ULK1 is an autophagy related protein which is required for the formation of autophagosomes. ULK1 is the the target of the TOR kinase signalling pathway regulating autophagy and forms a complex with ATG13 and RB1CC1.
ULK1 is strongly expressed in a wide range of adult tissues including heart, lung, kidney, brain, liver, pancreatic tissue and skeletal muscle.

Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
Immunohistology
This product does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g. trypsin or pronase. This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections
Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
