AHP2125 specifically recognises an epitope within the N-Terminal region (NT) of Caveolin-3 (CAV3), otherwise known as M-caveolin, a putative scaffolding protein predominantly expressed in muscle, which is implicated in the formation of caveolae membranes, and therefore membrane trafficking, transport and sorting, including endocytosis.

Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human CAV3 (NT) was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
