AHP2115 specifically recognises an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of human C1D, otherwise known as nuclear nucleic acid-binding protein C1D.
C1D is a ubiquitously expressed nuclear matrix DNA-binding, and apoptosis-inducing protein, which acts as an activator of the DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK), and is implicated as a regulator of TRAX/Translin

Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
Western Blotting
AHP2115 detects a band of approximately 14kDa in human skeletal muscle cell lysates.
Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human C1D (CT) was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
