AHP2072 specifically recognises human BMCC1, otherwise known as prune homolog 2 (PRUNE2), a cytoplasmic protein highly expressed in the central nervous system and adrenal gland, which is induced during the G1 phase of the cell cycle, and increasingly expressed during nerve growth factor (NGF)-depletion-induced apoptosis.
BMCC1 is highly expressed by certain tumours including noneuroblastomas, melanomas and rhabdomyosarcomas, and may act as an important regulator of tumour cell differentiation, aggressiveness and survival.

Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human BMCC1 was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
