AHP2056 recognises human PHAP III, also known as ANP32E, a 268 amino acid protein belonging to the ANP32 family.
Research indicates that PHAP III has an inhibitory effect on the activity of PP2A but not on PP1. It is believed that PHAP III may have a role in cellular development and synaptogenesis through modulation of PP2A activity.
PHAP III is expressed in a range of tissues including PBL’s, prostate, colon, thymus, spleen, small intestine, kidney and liver.

This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

Antiserum to human PHAP III was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
