AHP2028 specifically recognises an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of human FOXA2 (Forkhead box A2), otherwise known as HNF3B, an hepatocyte nuclear factor and member of the Forkhead family of transcription factors, which acts as a transcriptional activator for several liver-specific genes including albumin and tyrosine aminotransferase.
