AHP1862 recognises human F-box only protein 5 (FBXO5), a 50.1kDa protein belonging to the F-box family.
FBXO5 is similar to the Xenopus early mitotis inhibitor-1 (Emi1), a mitotic regulator that interacts with Cdc20 and inhibits the anaphase-promoting complex.

This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.

Antiserum to FBXO5 was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
