AHP1743 specifically recognise human CD137L, otherwise known as TNFSF9 or 4-1BBL, a type II transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the TNF superfamily, preferentially expressed by B cells, which acts as a ligand for CD137 (4-1BB ligand receptor/TNFRSF9).
Interaction between CD137L and its receptor acts as a co-stimulatory signal for T cell activation and expansion, and is involved in the generation of cytotoxic T cells (Tc) and in the process of antigen presentation. Expression of CD137L by a variety of carcinoma cells, suggests a role for CD137L in tumour cell-T cell interactions.

This product requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g. with proteinase K.
Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
Storage
Prior to reconstitution store at +4oC.
After reconstitution store at -20oC.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
12 months from date of reconstitution.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human CD137L were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
This antibody may be used in an indirect ELISA or as a capture reagent in a sandwich ELISA withAHP1743Bas the detection antibody andPHP203as the standard.
