AHP1716T recognises the C-terminal of human TICAM-2 (TIR domain-containing adapter molecule 2, also known as TIRAP3, TIRP, TRAM or TRIF-related adapter molecule), a member of the Toll/interleukin-1 receptor family. This family also includes the Toll-like receptors (TLRs). TICAM-2 functions in LPS-TLR4 signalling to regulate the MyD88-independent pathway during the innate immune response to LPS. It also plays a role in the activation of NF-kappa-beta. TICAM-2 is expressed in a variety of tissues including spleen, prostate, testis, uterus, heart and pancreas.

Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human TICAM-2 (CT) was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by ion exchange chromatography.
