AHP1680 specifically recognises human MARK2 (MAP/microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 2), otherwise known as EMK1, a serine/threonine-protein kinase and member of the protein kinase superfamily, which plays a role in epithelial morphogenesis, cell polarisation and the maintenance of microtubule stability.
