AHP1632T recognises PIST (PDZ protein interacting specifically with TC10), a ubiquitously expressed cytoplasmic and membrane protein associated with the Golgi apparatus.
Research indicates that PIST is involved in intracellular protein trafficking and degradation and may play a role in autophagy.

This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
