AHP1572 specifically recognises an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of isoform 2 of human IRSp53 (insulin receptor substrate p53), otherwise known as BAIAP2, a brain-enriched scaffolding protein which plays a key role in actin cytoskeletal reorganization and filopodia formation, acting as a signal transducing adaptor between membrane-bound Rho family GTPases Rho, Rac, and cdc42, and Rho family effectors mDia, WAVE2 and Mena.

Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human IRSp53 (CT) was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
