AAM76 specifically recognises mouse Rab17, otherwise known as Ras-related protein Rab-17, a GTP-binding protein and member of the RAS GTPase superfamily, induced on epithelial cells during cell polarization, which is implicated as a regulator of transcellular traffic through apical recycling endosomes.
