AAM56B is specific for mouse CD254, otherwise known as sRANKL, a 19.4kDa soluble protein and member of the TNF superfamily, comprising the full-length of the TNF-like extracellular domain of RANKL, expressed abundantly by T lymphocytes and cells of osteoblastic origin.
CD254 plays a role in the differentiation/maturation of osteoclast precursors and may act as a regulator of T lymphocytes and dendritic cell interactions, as demonstrated by its ability to augment the dendritic cell stimulation of naïve T-cell proliferation, in a mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR).

Shelf Life
12 months from date of reconstitution.
Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to mouse CD254 were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
