AAM45B is specific for mouse monocyte chemotactic protein-5 (MCP-5), also known as CC12.
MCP-5 is a member of the beta-chemokine family and is strongly chemotactic for monocytes and peritoneal macrophages.

Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to mouse MCP-5 were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
