Collagen I, Coated Plates and lids are packed 5 per vacuum sealed foil pouch with a desiccant which can be stored at room temperature for a maximum shelf life of 2 years. Collagen I, rat tail is used to coat tissue culture treated plates. This is the same collagen material we sell in liquid form. The plates are ready to use with no further preparation required, simply seed your cells.

We start with high quality rat tail collagen, the same material available in liquid form and follow a closely controlled, aseptic manufacturing process that produces a very consistent coating on the surface of tissue culture treated plates.
