The CHO CD EfficientFeed™ Kit is a system designed to help you more quickly and efficiently identify a feed supplement formulation that will
improve fed-batch productivity 2- to 5-fold versus batch conditions, as well as identify a feed supplement formulation that will help develop
bioreactor cell seed stocks more quickly.

Two benefits from one kit
The CHO CD EfficientFeed™ Kit contains two feed supplements, A and B, based on successful chemically defined media formulations you
may be using or considering for your batch culture medium (CD OptiCHO™ Medium or CD CHO Medium). Built using chemically defined
components 查看更多in higher concentrations, and based on typical CHO culture needs, these feeds have demonstrated the capacity for increasing
production of proteins and antibodies by as much as 5-fold versus batch culture conditions (Figure 1). Gain increased productivity from one
formulation and higher cell growth kinetics from the other, or a combination of the two. Higher cell growth kinetics can provide quicker
development of cells for seeding larger-scale bioreactors. Being able to load the bioreactor more quickly may allow you to increase the
number of bioreactor runs within a year (Figure 2). The kit provides a complete decision workflow, and set of proposed protocols to help you
choose the path towards feed identification in an efficient manner.
CHO CD EfficientFeed™ A is a chemically defined, membrane-filtered liquid reconstituted from AGT™ powders plus supplements. It contains
a carbon source, concentrated amino acids, vitamins, and trace elements, and can boost cell growth and productivity alone or in combination
with CHO CD EfficientFeed™ B. This product contains no lipids, vegetable hydrolysates, or growth factors to achieve its results.
CHO CD EfficientFeed™ B is a second chemically defined, membrane-filtered liquid reconstituted from AGT™ powders plus supplements. It
contains a carbon source, concentrated amino acids, vitamins, and trace elements, and can boost cell growth and productivity alone or in
combination with CHO CD EfficientFeed™ A. This product contains no lipids, vegetable hydrolysates, or growth factors to achieve its results.
Faster scale-up capability
Your path from small-scale experiments to larger-scale production runs has been simplified because CHO CD EfficientFeed™ supplements are
made from AGT™ powders plus supplements. Further, experiments have shown scalability from shake flask experiments to bioreactors. So you
can have confidence, based on results with this kit, that you can scale up with similar results and also order larger quantities in more economical
formats.
