7820-0124 is specific for human prostate specific antigen (PSA) and does not cross react with albumin or PAP.
Prostate specific antigen is a 34kD serine protease produced by prostatic epithelial, which is also known as kallikrein 3. Serum PSA levels have been correlated with the stage of prostatic cancer, and have been used to monitor residual tumour levels and disease progression.
