This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, chimpanzee, non-human primate, rabbit, ovine and porcine based on sequence homology.

Background/Target Information
Copeptin is a member of vasopressin/oxytocin family. It is a 39-amino acid peptide produced from cleavage of preprovasopressin during precursor processing, and is released along with the hormone arginine vasopressin. Copeptin acts to ensure the proper structural formation of arginine vasopressin during precursor processing.
