Mouse anti Human macrophages, clone PM-2K,recognizes most tissue macrophages in thymus, spleen, lymph nodes and tonsil. It is positive on Kupffer cells (liver), alveolar macrophages and macrophages in the interstitial tissue of the kidney, pancreas and other organs.
This antibody does not react with Macrophage Scavenger Receptors AI and AII.

The epitope recognised by this antibody is reported to be sensitive to formaldehyde fixation and tissue processing. AbD Serotec recommends the use of acetone fixation for frozen sections.
Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only.
